As we don't get much space now for our descriptions, I thought I'd make things a little clearer here. I'm not thinking of publishing a book. In recent years I've started making 'photobooks' of my drawings and art. I have five now. It means I can cull or re-use (the backs) of old paintings, whilst retaining a record of what I've done. I compile them over the year, when I have enough, I get them printed. I have two on the go at the moment, the other is for cartoons not related to sci-fi or fantasy. I find it also gives me a focus.

A brilliant page for you book Lew, the pen work is superb as is the colours. I like you attached explanation. Your post in the forum Is so readable and full of memories. Ah the old shops.

Thanks for the information lewis. We are going to enjoy all this.

Great! The leprechaun is my favourite, especially like his pipe and bag of gold in his hatband. Your attention to detail draws the eye in and around your work Lewis. Spot on as ever.

This is going to be a dynamic book.

Thanks to all for having a look and your great comments. Very motivating.

Such imaginative, wonderful, work with superb, illustrative skills Lewis.

Three super illustrations, Lewis, enhanced by those vibrant colours. (That red sky against the blue/violet is absolutely gorgeous.)

Brilliant expressions on the faces of all your characters as always. As said great vibrant colours.

An excellent start Lewis. Love your imaginative character and bold colour.

Another great page Lew. Love the leprechaun with paranoia;))

An example of how a page might like. This is a long-term project...it may change. Mixed media drawings, compiled, and text added, in Photoshop.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
