Retro-Sci-Fi. A3 pen and watercolor

Nice one, good to have a daily chuckle, thanks Lew

Thank you Carolyn and Dixie. I think the image quality is much better on the new site...it shows up all my mistakes. Ha!

Thanks for my morning treat Lewis. Love that red and orange sky.

Perhaps the caption should be, 'It's Art Jim, but not as we know it.'

Thanks Carole and Tony. You're right, Tony. I must say I prefer this 'retro' style sci-fi, it's more interesting to draw than spacesuits and space-ships.

Top notch as ever Lew. Great imagination and the skills to portray it.

Just super Lewis. It sets the imagination going for me. No you are not being pessimistic, but the site might become like a car boot sale. Lol . Just sad to see it for thus website.

Thank you John and Jim for your generous comments. Let's hope the 'car boot' effect doesn't take place, John. I have to admit that for a while it looked like Black Friday at Poundland.

Now that I have found my way onto this site after holidays - just. I think this is,as with all your work, terrific.

Fantastic, Lewis, and very poignant.

Vibrant and interesting as always Lew.

Thank you Carole, Ron and Maureen, always great to get feedback.

love this, it's so vibrant and really tells a story..plus...I want to own her boots :)

Full of interest and detail. As always superbly drawn and painted.

Love all your work. This one in particular.

I wasn't going to post for a while, after all the mayhem and mega-postings. But things look fairly normal at the mo. I must say Dawn and Co have responded quickly to the probs. (I still think the 'for sale' thing will result in a glut of postings from people using the site solely to sell their work. I know...I'm too pessimistic.)

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
