Nice set, I don’t think I will accept the challenge, wouldn’t know where to start.

Just amazing Lewis. Your talent holds no bounds.

There all great but I particularly like the ‘Twas midnight on the ocean. I like making sort of poetic words up myself and I guess these are your own Lewis. They sound like you. Super .

The mouse had me laughing right off Lew. The last one is a bit of a baffler. Needs thinking about. Great work as ever.

Thanks to all for your comments. These aren't my poems, John. I wish they were. They are all by ANON...in other words nobody knows who wrote them. I do on occasion have a stab at a limerick, and might include some later.

Brilliant as always Lewis, I love the weather one, quite appropriate for today. 😀

As ever, Lewis , your talent is as astounding as it is amusing, great pick me up! Thanks!!

How about this one. Asda man out on his van, delivering to people, that’s the Asda man. With his frozen Chinese wings tins and things, that’s the Asda man out on his van ringity ding that’s our Asda man. By john graham

Great Lewis.. can Remember doing nonsense poems at school, a lllllong time ago mind. What about one of those Juxtaposition pics! They’re pretty nonsensical.

Thanks again to the people who've added their comments. They are very much appreciated. Thanks John, I'll stick that on my list...I have about 10 more 'anon' poems to do when I get round to them. Good idea Rachel, that last poem is so nonsensical and surreal a juxtapose pic might work...or as they are surreal, maybe a pic that's NOTHING whatever to do with the poem. Intriguing...some of the poems left to do are weird.

Thanks Lew for the laugh. Wonderful as always!

You have a way with words and pictures, Lewis

Missed your postings while I have been away from POL. Nice to see you are still amusing us with your excellent work.

I've shown some of these before. Eventually I'll put them in a book...this is how each page will look. Pictures are watercolor and pen, assembled in photoshop. If you can think of a picture for the bottom right image, you're a better man than me...but I love the surreal poem.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
