You’ve handled the sea wall very well Lesley, you made it interesting with that break of pattern a third of the way along it. Almost abstract in design. It also pushes the the buildings back....good one!

Thanks Fiona, it is a bit kind of abstract.. the slate in the wall does change there. I'm not sure why, I've checked myself on a photo I took for reference. Perhaps when they rebuild it they had an abstract moment... I'm also going to give it a go in acrylics.. watch this space lol

My first attempt at painting that dreaded sea wall.. probably a mistake to use watercolours, note to self...try acrylics or oils ..lol..the scenery was sketched from the other side of the river I sat on a stone...one I managed before the storm arrived.
