Boscastle, the sea wall.

Boscastle, the sea wall.

You’ve handled the sea wall very well Lesley, you made it interesting with that break of pattern a third of the way along it. Almost abstract in design. It also pushes the the buildings back....good one!

Thanks Fiona, it is a bit kind of abstract.. the slate in the wall does change there. I'm not sure why, I've checked myself on a photo I took for reference. Perhaps when they rebuild it they had an abstract moment... I'm also going to give it a go in acrylics.. watch this space lol

That’s a really pretty scene, Lesley.

Lovely Boscastle and that fab seawall! You’ve done a really good job of this lesley, and you have the feel of the place.

Another lovely piece Lesley, there are some beautiful colours in that wall.

Thankyou Ellen, Tessa, Margaret there' was so many scene just in Boscastle alone, should keep me busy join the winter months lol

Hang on Studio Wall

My first attempt at painting that dreaded sea wall.. probably a mistake to use watercolours, note to self...try acrylics or oils scenery was sketched from the other side of the river I sat on a I managed before the storm arrived.
