You have captured it well. It happens here reasonably often when the mist rises from the valley...always a bit spooky.

A watercolour plein air sketch, I had to work very quickly as the mist was floating, it was so weird as the lighthouse seemed much larger. A4 bockingford paper. I m hoping to do this one in oils or acrylics as watercolours don't seem to show the mist so well.
