I really like the combination of soft edges and expressive mark making in this portrait Kay. Lovely work.

Just one suggestion though, the hard edge line at the bottom of the blouse next to the right hand slightly distracts from the overall balance and feel of the painting. I think softening/blurring this hard edge will add even more strength to this lovely composition.
