Leaf Motif

For my first attempt at egg tempera I used tubed watercolour pigment and looked up how to add the egg mixture. After reading a couple of articles found online I set off with my new project. I thought the subject of bright flowers against a window with stained glass would be a good subject to try out the glazing techniques. There is room for improvement but I was pleased at how I could combine the traditional techniques of tempera alongside watercolour and loved the glossy effect ideal for the beautiful stained glass.
