Great bit of work - especially as you don't seem to know who he is! I would have great trouble painting someone about whom I knew precious little, (by the way, I know no more about cricket than you do, though had heard of this gentleman) but this is a great dynamic painting, as though painted by a cricket fanatic.

You made my husband's day with this one, Joseph, as he is a fanatical cricket follower. He absolutely loves this portrait and was deeply impressed by it. I also love it - great angle of the arm and bat and such a compelling look in the eyes. You should enter the Sky Portrait Artist of the Year 2016 as you would knock them all into a cocked hat in my opinion.
