On a recent trip to the Oregon coast I was taking photos of sea anemones in tide pools. Later I noticed I had inadvertently photographed a small fish so I decided to make this composite drawing. Pen and ink, coloured pencil on 9” x 12” mixed media paper.

I enjoy painting with acrylics, pen and ink and sketching with pencil. I was born and grew up in England where I trained and practiced as a Geologist working in the UK and overseas. Currently retired and living in the Pacific Northwest.
