Based on the feedback on my initial sketch posted on PO , I made some compositional changes and completed this in pen and ink on 11”x14” paper. I added Fox as he appears in the story as the race judge, although I wonder if he had something more to do with the outcome? :) Used some royalty free images to help with animal details.
