July forum challenge

Super work, Jenny. Great design and execution. I've been looking at Art Deco pictures, and this screams 'deco' to me. Love it.

Great result with the red white and blue, 👍😀😀

Many thanks, Lewis. Although I’ve always preferred Art Nouveau, I have come to appreciate the elegance of Art Deco, probably through watching so much Poirot! I saw a programme last night on the art of Persia, and just love the designs of some of the floral stained glass work and beautiful turquoise blues of the tile work.

Thanks, Linda!

I agree with Lewis love it fan of deco so great!!

Great design and yes Art Deco. The Art Of Persia was a good "watch".

Thank you, Linda and Richard!

You’ve done it again Jenny! So elegant, so chic, so you! Lol Fabulous design and application.....as always.

Fiona, thank you so much for your lovely comments! This one just evolved as I went along, but that’s the fun of these challenges, they can take you off in quite unexpected directions. Look forward to seeing what you come up with - loved the abstract still life you did for the last one.

Many thanks, Maureen!

I just love how you arrange shapes and colours Jenny, very pleasing composition.

Thanks, Anjana, comment appreciated!

Easy to guess although a number of countries have flags in these colours. (The spots, by the way, are turquoise blue, not green.)
