Many thanks for your welcome comment, Richard. Yes, people do tell me that my work reminds them of book illustrations, I seem to have gradually developed an illustrative style in recent years.

For me, it's bordering on abstraction with the shapes and composition. And it all comes together very well. I noted, Denis, used the word "Magic" and I think that is an appropriate word, as this painting oozes "Magic".
