Thanks very much Dennis, John and Carole, for your encouraging comments. The foreground is my favourite bit, and was by far the easiest to do - done in one go using acrylic inks and cling film. I'm hopeless at foliage, and this method neatly solves the problem!

Jenny foreground is full of interest the bridge is well done just need more variations of green that's all otherwise lovely composition and painting

David, thanks very much for your constructive comments. I was conscious when doing this that I was using a very limited range of greens - I was trying a couple of greens I don't usually use (Light Green acrylic ink and Perylene Green watercolour) and thought I'd just stick with them for most of it, but I agree it has resulted in a certain dullness in places. Might try it again sometime with a different range of greens.
