I like it as it is Ira, though I am no expert! If I were to do a background I would just do a sea blue but very light as it's a striking image as it is.

Another one of Oban's wildlife, this time a Black Guillemot in winter plumage, drawn from a reference photo by a local wildlife photographer friend. I have been debating if I should add a background but can't decide, any thoughts? Charcoal pencils on cartridge paper 60 x 40 cm
