Colston Bassett Church.

Colston Bassett Church.

Very nice painting. I do like the shadowing, light and background working togerther.

Thanks Antonio. As I said in my description, this was meant as the "rough one"; a fairly quick acrylic "sketch". But sometimes that's the best way.

Super atmosphere.

Thanks Sylvia. I used to be one of those people who get bogged down with detail and "kill" the atmosphere. So I am pleased to say I reckon I've moved on from that approach.

I like this too, the eye level makes the church look very imposing. Very dramatic sky.

It is an inspiring sight. One can lay at the bottom of the slight "hill" the church stands on.
