On the hill

on the hill

This has a lovely feel to it. Great colours and a sense of movement, like it.

Thank you Heather for your comment that is what I tried to express.

Hang on Studio Wall

At the Windsor park as usual with my Toto, dog, I came up with this spot where I looked down the hill through pastel coloured grass rustling and tips of trees drifting. The soft breeze and tarnished colours of all became much sparkling to me. Later it became my favourite however I've rectified it this winter. It sometimes takes me some time to realise that the finished painting needs correction and rectification. I'm hoping I won't find no more unsatisfactory parts on this painting. Oil on canvas(30x40cm)

Hyechong Chung

Oil painting has become one of my largest pleasures in my life since quitting Korean teacher job. While strolling with my dog, I sometimes take a photo of the scene around and later it becomes my inspiration for painting.
