I can see the water in motion. lovely

I don't see anything bad here. Your water is very good and those small pebbles are really excellent. A lovely painting Helen!

Thank you Harinakshi and Satu for your kind comments.

Super painting full of atmosphere, and a lovely composition taking the eye on a journey.

Thank you Lesley. Glad you like it.

Bowness just as I remember it! Lovely soft reflections.

Thank you Val.

leave it as it is, conveys such a peaceful and tranquil feel, love it !

Somehow missed this one - really well painted Helen. You have asked for comments and not really a criticism but if I were to paint this scene I think I would have lowered the distant shore line a bit to reduce the amount of water and bring it all together a bit more. In other words the view as seen from closer to the ground if that makes sense.

Very, very good foreground in this watercolour Helen, maybe a bit more detail in the trees on the island as that is in the midpoint to push the distant shoreline further back, having said that it is a lovely painting

I agree with Pamela Williamson; just leave it as it is. I can't do this kind of painting, My works turn out to be more detailed and I'd love to be able to paint as You. Great skill!

A very beautiful and atmospheric piece.

Missed this one at the time, has a lovely 'soft' feeling to it and has already been said the water / reflectiions work really well.

Painted following a visit to Bowness last week. I learnt a lot trying to paint this including going back into an area painted wet into wet is a bad idea. I tried to sharpen the shoreline but then wanted to soften the edge and .... Any advice would be welcome.
