Keeper’s Cottage

Frank even , sorry posted before I corrected it. I do like Lino prints something I have not done for years

This is a great linoprint, amazing detail

Looks very fine to me, sounds a complicated procedure.

Marvellous Lino print Frank. Love the colours, design and overall effect. Hard work I imagine.

Thanks Paul, that’s ok, I get called all sorts of names these days 😀 Thanks Heather, it’s much simpler than the source photo! Thanks Lewis, more long winded than complicated. Thanks Carole, I was concerned that the colours might look over the top Thanks Romila.

Love it = the colours are intense, but not over the top at all.

Really like the foreground.

Thanks Robert, I only have the three primary coloured, oil based inks and they are quite expensive. Getting the right mix can use this thick ink up quickly so I have to use up what I’ve mixed to avoid a lot of wastage. I guess the work would loose impact if I got the colours more natural. Thanks Jill, I dropped the viewpoint here so that the foreground got pushed up into the picture for more interest.

The colours really work well together. I love everything you did here.

Superb technique, beautiful pallet.

Thanks David, I had to have two goes at this one.

I really like this pic. Live the colours and the detail. 🙂

7 layer reduction linoprint edition of 3. This is Keepers cottage at Gumley in Leicestershire and based on one of my own photos. Not sure if I like it now, maybe it will grow on me 😊.
