I really, really like this one Fiona. It's difficult to explain why.

GOSH FIONA I LOVE THIS I MUST FIND OUT ABOUT THIS MONOPRINT THING ITS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS FIONA WELL DONE INDEED

Very effective Fiona!

Love the feel of movement in the water, a new style for you.

Very good, I can just see this in a swish gallery! This technique sounds too technical for me ;)

I know what you mean Gudrun lol........ thanks very much for your support. Many thanks Dennis. Dennis (rob) I left a quick explanation on yesterday's posting about how to do it, but if you google monprinting it will show you how to do it right.....not like mine! Thank you very much for your comment.

Thanks very much Sarah, Glennis, Carole for you encouraging comments. Carole, it's too technical for me too, that's why I've made such a hash of it.....lol.

I rather like this Fiona, I think it's worked really well, it's good to experiment and it most certainly hasn't 'failed'!

Top notch Fiona. Really lovely.

I really like this, Fiona, as it has an unusual perspective which adds interest. I like the white and the strong black calligraphic lines. Works for me!

Christine, Kal, Thea thank you! I'm amazed at the constructive comments I've had on these three.....can't call them paintings.....pictures. Just proves that we all see something different.

Not failed, Fiona! I do like the bold lines, which give a lot of life and movement to the piece.

I should have actually added 'failed' in between more and monoprinting in the title! This was the second attempt using more left over oil paint, and before I found out that the paint should be much thinner. Done on acrylic paper with black marker pen.
