Not bonkers and you have caught the feeling of undetermined future both at the time and the way the economics work out.

Yea , I can feel the excitement you had doing this. Well done.

Thanks very much Derek. I did quite enjoy it Fred, thanks very much.

You've captured the feeling of turmoil ( pun not intended,) perfectly.

Lovely work and very relevant work Fiona. The cleaner is worse than the oil to wildlife

Yes, very different from your usual work Fiona but still a very striking piece.

Thanks very much everyone!

This is lovely Fiona.

Just a bit of fun Jennifer but thank you.

This is really interesting - has great energy and verve. A great subject and well spotted that it would translate into an exciting painting.

Well this stood out for me, I like it Fiona!

Nothing bonkers about this piece, Fiona! It's excellent! You've done really well with the knife, it's vibrant, atmospheric and really dynamic.

Thank you very much Thea, Carole, Seok......as always you are more than generous. X

The atmosphere you have created here is quite dramatic and brooding. Mildly intimidating!

Love those reflections!

Thanks very much Julie, you're very kind. Thank you Gudrun, always interested in your thoughts.

I,m trying to catch up after a long time out - and seeing your progress in the meantime, well you have become an accomplished oil painter Fiona, wow. These are fantastic, and well-deserved congratualtions for being at the top of the gallery. You are obviously enjoying your new-found skills.

I don't know about accomplished Sharon but I am enjoying the experience very much. Thank you for taking the time to trawl through my postings, and your comment. I hope to see some of your wonderful watercolour posted before too long.

Talk about something different! I spotted a picture of an oil rig on the news, with reference to cutting taxes for the oil industry......behind the reporter was a lovely picture of an oil rig lit up in the early evening and the reflections were really effective. I've tried to translate the idea in a semi abstract way, of not all calm waters at the moment, with rough sea's ahead for the oil industry. I know, I'm bonkers!Lol. Done with painting knife on gesso board.
