16”x12” oil on Belle arti board. Ben Nicholson was the last in our winter term study of painting in the style of and using the techniques of various artists. I enjoyed this exercise very much and will certainly look at exploring this style in the future I think. I used very simple items as my still life objects…..jug, eggcup and a mug….which you can probably only just make out. It’s been a great autumn and winter term!
