Garlieston Harbour

A very expressive, lively harbour image, Fiona - lovely colours!

You are so fortunate to live near the sea Fiona. This is gritty and I really like that effect.

A very energetic looking piece of Art Fiona full of life.

Like this, Fiona. Full of energy!

Wow, that is such an energetic piece Fiona!

I agree with all the comments Fiona, very lively and full of energy.

Well there’s a lot to take in with this one! Lively it certainly is… great creativity - it would make a painting I think…

This makes me remember being by the water in brilliant sunshine with fragmented reflections.

Very interesting to look at, especially that blue, Fiona. The eye goes all around the image, which is what it should do.

There is so much to look at within this gaiety of colour and movement Fiona. Feels as if you have painted this in motion.

Many thanks to you all for your lovely feedback. I couldn’t wait to get home to put something on paper of what I observed whilst at Garlieston. I think this one is too busy to be honest, but that may be down to my excitement! Lol. There isn’t enough distinction between the harbour wall and the boat, it’s difficult to be precise with this kind of print.

Love the blue with the orange Fiona- what a lovely print! My partner talks of Garlieston a lot because his mum lived there, so it's on the list of places to visit!

Beautifully done Fiona

Sarah, thank you very much. When you visit, don’t forget your paints! Many thanks David.

Gudrun thanks very much!

I am really enjoying seeing your latest work Fiona. Great energy!!

Thanks again Shaun, appreciate your valuable feedback.

16”x12” oil monoprint on heavy cartridge paper. Inspired by the boats and sea wall at Garlieston harbour this morning. It’s a lovely walk from Garlieston along the sea defences and coast, to Rigg Bay.
