thanks Fiona lovely., wow that was quick ..like you say it kept you out of trouble for a while ... I notice you used old holland watercolours ,,I am sending for a couple of them..I like the idea of intense black ..as you know most blacks are a little dull ,but heard good reports on old holland black take care

You've risen to the challenge very well Fiona, beautifully done!

Well done Fiona - challenge well met - might have a go myself but not sure when.

Thank you Alan for setting the challenge, I was wondering what to paint next, you saved me the trouble of looking for something.

Thank you Christine and Michael.

Looks good to me. The colours are very pleasant. The perspective is just right taking you to the houses in the middle ground.

Many thanks Pat, I feel I may have over worked it a little, for my taste.

Nice Work Fiona - Love the Colours, very tasteful & the perspective works well.....

Thank you very much James. I think I only used four colours; U marine, R sienna, B umber and V red.

Nice one Fiona!

Hi Debs, thanks very much.

I like it very much, Fiona - good placement of shapes and great light!

Are you catching up Seok? Thank you once again for yor lovely comment.

Very nice work, once again Fiona.

Thank you Stephen, why don't you have a go at this one?

Here you are Alan, my miserable attempt at your challenge. In my opinion, I've over worked the grass area's, gone too large and too dark on the posts and I haven't left enough of the path. Is that a fair assessment? It's kept me out of trouble for a while! Arches rough and Old Holland watercolours 12"x9".
