A good piece of work, Fiona; nice reflections, good depth to the picture achieved with the variations of tone. I also like the dry brush work in the foliage. A lovely painting to finish off 2011, and herald in 2012. Best wishes for the New Year and with the others above, I will be watching out for more of your work.

Oh, I love this, Fiona. Wonderful "almost" monochrome colours! Very well executed water, trees and reflections. I like the flowing of the water in the foreground. I see I am the first to wish you all the best on this New Year's Day. :) Mia

Excellent stuff Fiona. Are you sure it's Somerset, it looks like just over tthe border in Devon, Horner. We have photos just like that from when we were on holiday there a few years ago. best Mick
