Before I read your description Ellen, I thought, there’s a lot of depth in this.....would that be down to the glazing?

Thank you Dennis, Fiona, Sandra, Michael, Denise, Linda and Carole for your feedback. I covered the surface with red leftover paint and added more leftover paint as I went on over the course of a few days, until I achieved the look I was after. Then I glazed it with a thin layer of turquoise and purple in places, but leaving the parts I didn’t want glazing. Paul Klee is one of my favourite abstract painters. I think I did him justice!
