For a first attempt it is very good. The bottle at the top may be a bit 'wonky', but I think that adds to its charm. More shade on the drapes perhaps using different and darker blues may be more effective, but what do I know I've only just started painting still life (done 3 now in acrylics) and I think it is very underrated discipline. If you look at Beatrice Cloake 's galleries on here, you'll be inspired to do more. Keep at it and well done.

My attempt at a still life with 2 items. Watercolour on 300gms paper. Size A3 (300mm x 400mm) I struggled to get the dark colour on the bottle. This was my first attempt at paiting some drapings and I realize I need a lot more pratice. All comments most welcome.
