Leopard in the grass

Leopard in the grass

Hello Elizabeth. I think you are very brave - wild animals can be very tricky. A thought for you - it is often useful to work with the idea of "lost and found edges". It can be fun and is a good way to connect the subject and the background. Perhaps something to think about for your next wildlife subject. I think his head may be a little on the large side relative to his body. I like the way you have painted his nose and mouth.

Hang on Studio Wall

Medium: Oil on primed hardboard. Size: 600mm X 400mm. My first try to paint wild life in oil. I have been struggling a bit and it took me a long time to finish. In the end it doesn't look too bad (My opinion). I'll appreciate all comments in order to improve. Thanks for looking.
