The road to Cornwall - Lifton copse
I've seen this copse of trees off the A30 when driving to Cornwall many times. Every time I see it I say I will include that group of trees in a painting one day. Recently the trees were included in an on line article by the Telegraph publishers. I learned that the trees are on the Lifton estate and are known as the Lifton copse. Apparently there are 140 beech trees and were planted in 1900. The article was about arriving and I certainly feel like I'm getting closer to our holiday destination.
