You are right Diane, it does remind you of someone. I really like how you have expressed this painting. I like your title and the reasons for it.

Excellent. I really like how you have arrived at it. The identity may or may not eer come to you!

Nice Impressionist portrait Diane! Windmills of the Mind was a song which does evoke memories of people we knew and imagination takes us to the visual perception, yes! Have never painted or drawn from a visionary image in portraiture but have created a monoprint and it turned out like an impression. Interesting concept and well done!

Thank you Denise, Gudrun and Angela, I appreciate you commenting.

Interesting! They say that all of us have a double somewhere, probably more than one, so any face could remind you of someone you know or have met. I wonder if without realising you did have someone in mind? Good painting anyhow, I like the vagueness.

I like this one Diane

Acrylic on A4 card. I was experimenting with making a portrait from imagination. Exciting! It reminds me of someone but I don't know who. The title comes from 'half remembered names and faces but to whom do they belong" from the song 'Windmills of Your Mind'.
