Fabulous Diana, in your usual making the mundane look extraordinary style. No evidence of any scrubbing 😁

Wonderful, you're a true artist Diana.Every one a gem.

Wonderful effect and artistry Diana.

Such subtle use of colour and beautiful sharp areas. Love it.

I know from experience that the seemingly simple subjects often pose the biggest problems ( jellybabies). Lovely result Diana but the important question is....what kind of teabag? Yorkshire , I hope!

I really like the warm colours in this, Diana, with that touch of blue.

Thank you Anjana. The background has been scrubbed to within an inch of its life 😂 Thank you Jim. That’s very generous. Thank you Fiona. I’m actually really pleased to have rescued this because there is a lot I like. Thank you Elaine. Maybe the scrubbed paper did me a favour because I had to make the background much looser Good evening Marjorie. Thank you and yes, it was a Yorkshire teabag! Thank you Jenny. I decided to dab the blue in at the last minute and like it Much appreciated Dennis. Thanks. .

You’ve transformed a banal scene into a radiant cameo Diana. A truly golden moment captured with such sensitivity and creative genius.

Super painting. Love your colours.

Good morning Carole and Paula. I really appreciate your lovely thoughts. Interestingly, When I thought this was past the point of return, I really enjoyed scrubbing and slapping on colour with carefree abandon

So good Diana, you have a great skill in making the everyday beautiful. Deep admiration for your ability with watercolour

This is another good rich harvest you grow In the the watercolour Field! The colours and transparency are exquisite!

Thank you Heather. I wish I’d videoed the last hour! You don’t associate watercolour with such mess😂 My white trousers are finished. Worth it though. Thank you Yoko. A lot of the subject was painted wet on dry but the background was very much wet in wet

'Every one a gem' - never a truer word said, just superb Diana

Thank you very much Linda and Russell. Lovely to hear from you and your comments are really valued.

Great - again.

I always use my fingers Diana, Super and different colouring from your usual.

Good morning Paul and John. Thank you for your interest. It does feel as if your more connected to the work when using fingers

Absolutely fabulous, I am a big fan of your gorgeous paintings.

Thank you very much Romila That’s very motivating

Half imperial sized watercolour. This has been unbelievably challenging. The paper behaved very strangely and the slightest rubbing made the paint bleed. In desperation I used the bleeding texture to scrub and spray with wild abandon.
