The new brushes are certainly working. Beautiful shapes & tones.

This is lovely - great brushes wielded by a talented artist!

Thank you Stephen and Heather. It’s a messy business but slowly I’m making less !!

It's beautiful Diana, you have managed to capture such lovely light on the leaves and the flowers 💗

The lilies are beautiful but it is the treatment of the background leaves that makes the painting for me.

This is magnificent, Diana. Love all about it!

Lovely Diana, beautiful light and greens of the leaves. (I remember the watercolour version you did of this.)

Super marks with that brush of yours Diana, which has captured the sense of light. A beauty.

Beautiful Diana!

Very beautifully painted. I love your painting !

Thank you Linda it was a very sunny day so lovely contrasts. Thank you William. I wanted to indicate the foliage without detail and am pleased you noticed. Thank you Mia. I loved this image enough to have painted it watercolour a while ago. I’m finding my feet with oils by painting a few familiar subjects. Thank you Jenny. We painted that image at our weekly watercolour class One of the class got a mention in a Jean Haines competition on here with it.

Thank you John I’m glad K chose that brush. It seems to know what it’s doing 😂 Thank you Linda. It’s lovely to receive such compliments. Thank you Lea. I think the limited palette works well.

New brushes working well but from what I see from your portfolio the old ones also did as well.

Thats kind of you Noel. I have a wonderful collection of watercolour brushes but the cheap oil ones Ive ruined with a brief play with acrylics. I am rather extravagant with art materials !!

Oh yes! Love that loosely painted foliage And the light on the lilies is positively Sorolla-esque! Smashing and looks like you really enjoyed painting this Diana.

What a very complimentary comment Tessa. You made me smile Thank you.

What a sight to come across Diana. Love the bold shapes, colours and design.

Beautiful brushwork to capture light dancing on the flowers

Lovely lilies!

Top quality work as ever Diana. Lovely.

Thank you Carole. I’m very happy to read your lovely comment. I wanted a slightly abstract background. Thank you Sam. I’m practicing applying paint wet in wet. Quite difficult. Thanks Linda. Your support is really appreciated. Thanks Jim. It’s a change of technique to see the work at its best from a distance.

Thank you Romila. I think green and white looks so fresh together

So fresh and lively Diana, a real beauty!

Thank you Fiona. I think green and white look really fresh together. My favourite bouquet colour

Beautiful treatment of whites and greens, Diana!

Gorgeous in every way. I love the light, flowers and that beautifully captured leaf detail. Very enjoyable painting!

Thank you Jacques. My favourite colours for flowers. Thank you Katarina. I am encouraged by your encouraging feedback
