Tribute to a dennis

I have just noticed the unintentional but suitable figures in the distance on far left

And what a good tribute it is - I'm sure Dennis will be chuffed.

Hi Derek thank you for painting this picture you have done a great job of it and its in your style which I like very much . I feel honoured not angry and further more I encourage you to go thruogh my gallery and do your take on any of my paintings. After all for us its great fun and maybe I can attempt one or two of yours at some point . Many thanks Derek mate.

Thank you dennis, glad you approve,
I was a bit nervy about it as you paint so many good scenes seemingly easiliy. I am working on my new style verison of one of my own ink and wash scenes at present.

A lovely take on Dennis's painting Derek. All good sports on here.

Cheers Carole

And thanks again dennis please do have a go at mine if you choose.

Great piece Derek lovely slabs of colours you will have Dennis quaking in his boots

Hah, thanks dennis.

A very nice and more than proficient tribute Derek. Well painted, and is that a bit of collage in there?

Thank you Gudrun and no not collage Andre, it was printed on the top edge of the small sample I used and late on instead of paining it out or cropping it, I decided to use it as a sign.

My kind of work. Vibrant & full of excitement. I really like it, Derek.

25 x 17cm on a buff tinted sample of watercolour paper. Dennis does some smashing stull if here and finds theodd angles and scenes and I was bored and lacking in inspiration yesterday so I borrowed his current piece and did my own thing. Hope he's not upset. If so will delete it.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
