Filey by Dawn Blatherwick

Having just spent a week on the East coast in a small town called Filey, a place we have visited countless times and a home from home. I found out that the lifeboat on this painting has been decommissioned and Filey is left with an inshore rescue boat. This painting is taken from a photograph i took a few years ago when we watched the great vessel come home after a call out to see. Filey has no harbour and so depends on a tractor to pull it up the slipway. Happy memories.
