Good to hear you are out and about doing some lovely sketch book work.

Cracking sketch David, very fresh.

Thank you Heather ,Paul,Fiona and Barry. Yes Barry its a year his week since my cancer op ........not fond memories!!!! I am now walking 3 miles and gaining strength. It is such a lovely thing to sketch outside. I have plans for this sketch as a painting with lots of atmosphere and mystique!!!!

Love the way the tree is bent with the wind and the feeling of the wildness of nature David.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments

B4 Pencil sketch . I sketched this a few days ago on a sunny day. It is one of 160 Tors on Dartmoor and many say it looks like a man with a cap or a big nose. I have wanted to sketch it for ages. Now i am better, the mile walk to it is a lot easier. The small hawthorn tree was above and to the righthand side, so to balance the composition i needed to move it. The two birds were also positioned for the same reason. I also darkened the sky around the Tor to show it up.
