Late afternoon in Minervois; that still part of the day when lunch is settled nicely and it's not yet time to stir oneself for evening. Time seems to stand still the heat just lies waiting for something to happen. I added Hansa yellow to and pthalo blue green shade to cadmium red, cadmium yellow and ultramarine, and magenta to strengthen the darks. Acrylic on canvas on board measuring 45 x 40 cms
