Beautifully done. I too have struggled with which paper to use with coloured pencils. Thinking about using a Derwent paper when I run out of Bristol board.

I purchased the Caran d ache Pablo colour pencil set a few months back and have done this Kestrel on watercolour paper. I have got mixed feelings on colour pencil at the moment but may give them a try on pastel matt, i have heard you get better results.
