I like the way the beard pours with growth Cesare I bet you are beginning to appreciate fully their genius

I love how you have used the blue Cesare, this is another stunning portrait, especially the eyes.

I love your portrait paintings. I think I need some lessons from you!

Sorry, great eyes in this one it should say.

This is seriously good. Love the skin tones and the colours.

Lovely loose style with this portrait, nice work.

Those eyes are fabulous Cesare. A great image.

Great painting Cesare its hard in watercolour as well

Thank you all for your kind comments much appreciated.

Caro Cesare, questo ritratto è riuscito veramente bene. Lo sguardo, i colori, la distribuzione di luci e ombre: fantastico. Complimenti! Te lo dovevo scrivere in italiano.

Caro Ezio, ti ringrazio del tuo bel complimento, e aspetto di vedere altri tuoi ritratti.

Another fabulous portrait Cesare I love that blue around the eyes

Thank you both Helen and Dermot for your kind comments.

You are becoming a master of expression when it comes to eye's Cesare. Great work. Have you thought of experimenting with darker back grounds to bring the portrait forward and add depth and give greater luminosity to the skin?

Thank you Les for your kind comment much appreciated. Thanks for the advice. I think a dark background fits better with oil portraits than watercolours, but I'll try.

My favourite of your super portraits to date Cesare, fabulous painting.
