My first entry into my new A3 Moleskine Sketchbook. Painted in Acrylics. This gorgeous chap is a Eurasian Eagle Owl, and can be seen at the Highlands Wildlife Park in Scotland. During the 20th century the Eurasian eagle-owl underwent a significant decline in Europe due mainly to human persecution. In recent years their populations have started to recover to some extent as a result of improved protection, extensive reintroduction and restocking programmes.
