The Hake is great fun, and can make or break a painting - I love it, but now and then it just bites back with a vengeance: it's not usually the brush, it's nearly always the mix of colours. I like this one - keep the colours simple, and apply them directly.

Love this - it is something and nothing in a way - impressionistic but you know exactly what it is. Am I making any sense at all?? I think you have done a marvellous job with this one.
