Magnolia tree blossoms

That's a lot better. The colours are really shining through.

Because of your lovely magnolia painting ( and I liked yesterday's, what was wrong with it? ) I'm off this afternoon to see if they are in bloom in Howick Garden, Northumberland.

Thanks Linda, after your helpful comment I downloaded a free editing app, and it's quite a lot better than the ipad's own. Marjorie, I'd love to know how your trip went, I'm beaming that it inspired a visit! Thank you, Margaret, that's very kind.

Marjorie, on my ipad yesterday's photo looked okay but on other monitors it was dull, so I re-edited it. This one's now super-bright, ha, but I guess one has to accept there's going to be a difference between machines.

Hi Caroline. The magnolia blossoms had just started at the top of the tree so we'll be going back! But there were lots of daffs, crocus, other tiny Spring flowers so it was a lovely walk, rounded off with tea and cake in the Earl Grey tearoom. ( Howick was the family home of Earl Grey and has a wonderful arboretum) By the way, you must have brought me luck - I won the Feb anniversary comp with my "Honesty" Still Life!
