Beautiful scene Caroline, my mum in law came from Suffolk I'm sure I've heard of Sweffling. Shame they pull these lovely places down :(

Thank you Carole; it's north of Ipswich, and halfway between Saxmundham and Framlingham. And thank you for your comment, Willie. I did a couple of oil sketches en plein air and did this painting from them and a photo. I was amazed by how much it helped having sketched first.
