I don't know how you have done it Caroline, but these daffs really jump out the painting at you. They look 3D......well done.

I agree with Fiona, daffodils are very hard to paint but you have captured them really well,

Oh thank you so much, Fiona and Glennis. I set off gaily (ridiculously) thinking "Oh, it can't be that hard to paint daffodils..." I had to try several times, and almost gave up/painted it over in big black stripes!

Hi Caroline Ros P here, just seen your kind comment on my climbing boots oil painting, thanks very much for taking a look and commenting, it is always nice to get comments on our work isn't it, good to know that others appreciate what we are doing, encourages us to keep going, so thanks very much again!!

hi Caroline I thought I would reply to you about my work on this gorgeous painting. I really like this and was going to paint daffodils today but they haven't opened yet. Just to let you know that I've posted how I did the moorland painting on the picture so you can see for yourself where and what I mean. Again this is a lovely picture.

Thank you Dawn for your kind comments, and I'll go and have a look now. Yes, daffs are so late this year, aren't they?
