The haunted house in Korbach
The Haunted House in Korbach was once a gothic warehouse whose access was only possible through an adjacent half-timbered house. It was built around 1300 from rough limestone ashlars. One of the oldest half-timbered houses in Korbach, the former Haus Wille, is closely connected to the old warehouse. The name "Spukhaus" (haunted house) goes back to a legend according to which a once evil woman was transformed into a black pig as punishment for her hard-heartedness. Pen-and-wash, 17x22 cm
