Thank you! I really enjoy using oil pastels, although you do have to choose your subject carefully - they are the friend of impressionist style work, and the enemy of fine detail!

This is the last piece of work I did at Tenbury Art Club in March 2020, the week before lockdown. It was inspired by a Period Living magazine interior photo which included 3 antique Chinese ginger jars. I thought the glazed porcelain surfaces might lend themselves to oil pastels on coloured pastel mat board.
