Gorgeous muted colours, Barry

Thanks so much to you all for the lovely comments, I usually use pen and wash for buildings and man made structures but doing this scene has persuaded me to do more landscapes.

Thanks John, Jake is certainly worth a look much of his work is paintings of animals but he is also very good with landscapes and street scenes. He is currently doing some demonstrations using zoom.

I like using ink in landscapes Barry, especially as you’ve done here in the trees. It gives them such clarity and sharpness, it really makes the whole painting come to life. Beautiful.

Thank you Willie, Katy, Maureen, Paul, Fiona and Carole, totally agree with Fiona that ink does add an extra dimension to trees it enables me to get those darkest darks in early.
