It was a lovely surprise to log in just now (7.30 am) and see five such encouraging comments, thank-you all very much. It is a real confidence boost to get positive feedback from artists who are so much better than I am. I wish I could get back to a similar style for some paintings but seem to have lost the knack. Yes Alan they did buy it. Give it a go Sylvia!

Small acrylic triptych that I did about three years ago. Friends saw it when I had done 2 and said if I did a third they would buy it. The middle one is the "third".

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I intend to work on mainly abstract landscapes.
