  • I obviously missed your pencil drawing somehow but this watercolour version is superb. The grain of the wood, the tones and last but not least the rustiness of that old bolt couldn't be bettered. Your lovely paintings of such mundane objects never cease to amaze me.

  • Enjoyed the pencil drawing, and this is all your above admirers say it is - wonderful depiction of tones and stages of disintegration in wood and metal. Clearly there was something important behind this door once upon a time ... but not lately!
