  • Thank you all. This house is hidden away in a little hamlet near here and is just gorgeous. I think most of it is Tudor but could be wrong. Thanks Jeannette; I think I'm getting there in avoiding too much detail on the stonework. I'm still sorely tempted to paint each and every stone LOL.

  • Diana, a very nice painting, I love the character of the english winter trees, is this building situated in the Cotswolds? the stone looks like that area.

  • No not the Cotswolds; it's good old Lancashire; we do actually have some stunning countryside and beautiful buildings up here.
