  • Alan you have arrested the heat, beauty and the whole Mediterranean feel within this wonderful painting. The rich reds of the buildings and green cypress trees add to the panache of this undeniably, Spanish scene. Love it.

  • Nice contrast between the strong colour of the town and and the light tones of the distant headland.

  • Love the colour mix, Alan, especially the clear blue of the sea and sky - and also the square format.

  • Really striking, Alan. I particularly like the tones in your distant headland and the loose brush work in the foreground.

  • It's a Mediterranean dreamscape, Alan. I actually really like this particular vantage point but your higher work is also right up there. (pardon the pun) *smile*

The colour of the sea is simply glorious, and the heat and light is quite dazzling. Super work!
