  • Wow Pete this is fabulous, definitely a hint of Wesson but also an addition of your own style too. Trees are brilliant.

  • I thought this had a hint of Wesson about it. I also prefer the rag papers, Saunders and Arches, as you can over paint without creating too much mud. This works well.

  • I hate Bockingford Peter, it's like blotting paper, but other's love it!. The Hake was great in the hands of Ron Ranson, but I could never get to grips with it. Super work anyway, Arches is a lovely paper to work on, I also love Fabriano Artistico just as much.

  • Great work here, Pete...I get in a terrible mess with hakes! love the tree branches, really effective. I have a love/hate relationship with all water colour papers at one stage or another in the painting!!!
